Finding My Style Through Travel
Finding my personal style was a journey that started long before I even realized it. Growing up, I was the kid who never knew what to wear. Being tall didn’t help either—I’d end up borrowing my dad’s old clothes because they were the only things that fit. Back then, I was more focused on comfort than style, and honestly, I didn’t really care about fashion.
The Impact of Traveling
But that all changed when I started traveling. Every city I visited opened my eyes to new ways of dressing, and before I knew it, my wardrobe started to evolve. In places like Tokyo, Paris, and New York, I’d see people rocking outfits that were both bold and effortless. And it wasn’t just about the clothes—it was about the attitude. These were the kinds of looks that made you want to stop and snap a stylish photo because they weren’t trying too hard; they just worked.
Attention to Detail and Confidence
I started paying more attention to the details—how a well-fitted coat could make you feel confident or how a simple pair of sneakers could completely change the vibe of an outfit. Fashion became less about trends and more about finding pieces that felt like me. The coolest part? My personal style became a mash-up of everywhere I’d been. I’d mix sleek Korean streetwear with the laid-back, casual style I saw in Australia, or throw on a sharp Parisian jacket over a basic tee. Every outfit started to tell a story.
Capturing the Moment
Now, when I’m out exploring, I love capturing those moments. A stylish photo isn’t just about what you’re wearing—it’s about how you feel in it. When you feel good in what you’re wearing, it shows. It’s like those little snapshots freeze a moment in time, not just for the look but for the memory behind it.
Finding My Own Style
If there’s one thing I’ve learned through all of this, it’s that personal style doesn’t come from following the latest trends—it comes from finding what speaks to you and making it your own. Every place I’ve been has added something to my style, and it’s still evolving with every new adventure.
What’s Your Style Journey?
What’s your style journey like? Have you ever found inspiration in a place you’ve traveled to? If so, I’d love to hear about it.
